This part of my website is dedicated to the memory of Douglas Adams, died too young at 49 years old. Douglas was of course the famous author of "The Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy" (and its different versions), but he also wrote some other master pieces like "Last chance to see" or the Dirk Gently novels.
His departure has been a great loss to countless fans and friends. And not only because he was a famous author and a great friend.
Douglas was a fascinating man, a Renaissance man, with a lot of interests and passions. He also had the special talent who allowed him to share his passions with the ones who read his books or listened to him.
Douglas was a writer, an actor who was at heart a darwinist, a zoologist, a radical atheist, a guitarist, a lover of new technologies,... He hold in high regard Darwin, Bach, The Beatles, John Cleese, PG Wodehouse,...
He was like all human beings should be. Enthusiastic, curious, aware of Life's absurdities and beauties.

PS : thanks to Bruno Barwise for his great help. Without him, this website would have not been possible to make.
